Nobody visits Murcia just once. Once they have seen it, they will return again and again. This is because Murcia is the sunniest place in Spain with an average year-round temperature of 21 degrees and a historical legacy handed down over 25 centuries by the Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Carthaginians and Arabs. It has international schools, modern hospitals, a complete communications network, fabulous restaurants, a famous market garden and, of course, the beaches, alongside the warm, crystal waters.

Very soon, the high speed train will take you to Madrid in just two hours. As well as airports at Alicante and San Javier, a new airport is being planned in Corvea, which is the second closest town, and will be just 5 minutes from Hacienda del Álamo.

And Murcia has more than 180 beaches along its coastline. Most of them are classified with the blue flag and all have spectacular views of the Mediterranean. They are worth seeing, and fortunately, it will take you many days to see and enjoy them all.
